Raiders cemented their status as the fifth best team in the country with a display that echoed a welcomed return to form. Despite only winning the corresponding fixture against Eagles by 6 points earlier in the year, Raiders started the game with a different, fast paced first unit to try and out hustle the Newcastle based team. It worked, as Raiders rallied to an early lead, and never looked back, securing their largest winning margin of the season, in 47 points. With only one game to go this season, Raiders are now guaranteed to finish fifth in the super league, and on this form, will look to challenge the top four next season.
